Working with the staff and the children, we identified the key elements that they would like to include in the logo. These included the sea, the canal, the mountains, the fields, the sky with the Church at the heart of the village. We then asked them to sketch these elements in a workshop. Once we had collated their ideas and drawings, we were able to develop a logo that encapsulated each element within a heart and with a cross at the centre. We then went on to work with uniform suppliers to ensure that the logo was well reproduced in all forms of embroidery and screen printing on different coloured items, along with developing plans for external signage and branding. We have also developed an email marketing system for them that enables them to send a cost-effective email newsletter to all parents on a weekly basis simply and quickly.
