Carnforth Community Swimming Pool
One of our favourite community projects, Carnforth Community swimming pool was about to be a victim of local council budget cuts. So many of the children we know learned to swim there that we couldn’t stand by and watch it happen so we offered our support to the team who were trying to save it – and save it they did!
What we did
Having been neglected for years as a result of budget cuts, Carnforth Community swimming pool was looking jaded. To survive as an independent resource it needed to attract more visitors so we gave it a fresh new look. We developed a new identity, new signage, banners, leaflets, uniforms, website and emails for them but our favourite part of the project had to be the branded inflatables for the pool – that was a new challenge for us! The good news is that the marketing has helped them to be taken more seriously, not only attracting new swimmers but new funding streams too. A job to warm the heart.
